| How does it get your data? | CSV exports from your broker. Trading 212, Revolut, Trade Republic, DEGIRO, IBKR, Robinhood, Coinbase and Binance are detected automatically; anything else goes through a generic column mapper. No Plaid, no bank logins, no stored credentials. |
| Where is your data stored and processed? | The database is hosted in the EU (Supabase, Ireland). Pages are rendered and your data is decrypted on Cloudflare Workers, which runs on Cloudflare's global network. Supabase and Cloudflare are US-headquartered companies. |
| Is it encrypted, and who holds the key? | Balances, holdings, liabilities, snapshots, wishlist and pies are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and per-user keys. The key is held by the operator and the server decrypts data to show it — not zero-knowledge. Imported transaction rows are not encrypted. |
| Which analytics run? | PostHog (EU region), and only after you accept analytics cookies. No ad SDKs, no data sales. |

Who it isn't for (yet):if you want automatic bank syncing, a native mobile app or budgeting, Millefold doesn't do that today. Other trackers may — check their current documentation for how they connect to your accounts and store your data.
