Terms of service.
By using Millefold you agree to the terms below. They're meant to be readable in five minutes — no dark patterns. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
The deal
Millefold is a free, personal wealth-tracking workbench, currently in open beta. You enter what you own and owe; we crunch numbers and show charts. It's provided to you free of charge, and using it means you accept these terms.
Who runs Millefold
Millefold is operated by Paulius Reutas, a private individual based in Lithuania — a personal project, not a registered company. You can reach the operator at hello@millefold.com, which is the contact point for any question, complaint, or legal or data request.
Not financial advice
Nothing in Millefold is investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. The discipline score, debt ratings, levels, leaderboard, and compound projections are opinionated tools, not professional advice. The numbers depend on what you enter and on third-party market data that can be delayed or wrong. Talk to a licensed advisor before making money decisions, and treat every figure as an estimate you are responsible for checking.
Your account
- You must be 18+ and capable of entering a binding agreement.
- One account per person. No automated sign-ups, no shared credentials.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Garbage in, garbage out.
- Don't use someone else's data without their permission.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape, automate, or hammer the service in ways that degrade it for others.
- Don't try to break authentication, access controls, or claim badges (OG, L11, L12) you haven't earned.
- Don't upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content (avatars, bios, slugs), and don't use a public profile for spam or hate.
Availability
Millefold is in open beta and runs on Cloudflare and Supabase. We keep it running on a best-effort basis; we'll tell you about planned downtime, but we can't promise zero outages.
Price
Millefold is free. There are no paid plans.
What we promise about the service
We work to keep Millefold accurate and available, but — because it's a free tool in beta — we can't guarantee that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, or that any figure it shows is complete or correct. This does not affect the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, and because Millefold is provided free of charge, we are not liable for: financial, investment, or tax decisions you make based on the app; losses caused by inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable third-party market data; or indirect or unforeseeable losses.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for our intent or gross negligence, for infringement of your data-protection rights, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. Your statutory consumer rights always come first.
Your data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your account and data any time from Settings.
Account changes + closure
You can close your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law; where it's reasonable and lawful to do so, we'll let you know why and give you a chance to export your data first.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, we'll show the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before you continue. Minor wording or clarity fixes may be made without asking again; the "Last updated" date always reflects the current version.
Governing law + disputes
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law, and disputes fall to the courts of Vilnius where applicable — but the mandatory consumer protections and courts of the country you live in still apply and take precedence where the law says so.
If you're a consumer and we can't resolve a complaint between us, you can turn to the consumer-protection authority where you live. In Lithuania that's the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT, vvtat.lrv.lt).
